By working in collaboration with Shropshire Council, local stakeholders and residents, we obtained planning consent originally for 550 homes within nine months.
Although mainly a greenfield site, some demolition and remediation works were required along with the formation of new road access points, ground preparation and in bringing utility services into the development.
The serviced, residential development land has been sold in five separate parcels to Vistry, Galliers Homes, Bellway Homes, Miller Homes and Lioncourt Homes.
We have sold 30 acres of serviced employment land to Morris & Company who are bringing forward a range of employment space to attract local, regional and national occupiers.
We achieved planning approval in early 2025 for an additional 226 units, successfully selling the site to Persimmon Homes. The application comprises of:
- An enhanced affordable housing offer (91 units - double the policy requirement).
- A strong focus on placemaking.
- Public open space and enhanced landscaping that will improve the ecological value of the development.
- 10% biodiversity net gain delivered on-site.
