With a strong and positive relationship with the local community through continued engagement over a number of years, additional planting and walking routes have been delivered within the site in order to support the residents and to help facilitate greater permeability around Haddenham.

The opportunity remains for further development of residential units, new employment development and supporting infrastructure on the remaining land.

In summer 2025 an outline application was submitted for a landscape-led development of up to 700 dwellings, a primary school, open space, and associated infrastructure across the 40ha site.

The proposals also include offsite delivery of a new all-weather artificial grass pitch within an existing primary school in the village, 19ha of open space and contributions for the reconfiguration of a further 4.5ha of open space adjacent to the site so that it works cohesively with the proposed new development.

The proposals were developed in consultation with residents and sports and recreation clubs within Haddenham, to support an integrated addition to the village, aligning with our Happy Healthy Places agenda.
