2026 Team Away Day

On 21 September the LIH team headed to Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa in Redhill for the annual away day. The morning started with a motivating business planning session yet ended with us becoming secret agents and solving puzzles to retrieve James Stone’s stolen top-secret files (assuming his speech notes for the evening toast). 

The afternoon session saw us working in teams and as a whole group to create a multi-canvass painted masterpiece! Creativity and collaboration at its finest saw our version not far off the original we were aiming to replicate. 

A lovely evening meal in the hotel restaurant finished the day perfectly with us all retiring to our rooms yet looking forward to the next day’s planned activity - a visit to the stunning Denbies Wine Estate.  

Being well behaved it wasn’t for wine tasting but for a lovely walk through the estate and round the North Downs. With a few members of the team local to area, we were guided round the area with features pointed out and explained – a both interesting and fun experience. 

As always, really good to get together as a team that genuinely enjoy each other’s company, productively covering ground pushing the business forward in a fun and enjoyable manner.
