Houghton Regis project (HRN1) supports town Carnival for 2nd year running

The Houghton Regis Development Consortium (HRDC) were delighted to once again sponsor the Houghton Regis Carnival 2017.

The floats on parade are of an incredibly high standard and this year was no exception. Russell Goodchild, Commercial Manager of Houghton Regis North Site 1 (HRN1) had the pleasure of joining Houghton Regis Town Mayor, Councillor Joanna Hillyard to judge the procession competition.

Houghton Regis Town Mayor, Councillor Joanna Hillyard said: “It was great to see so many local groups and societies involved in the carnival, and we would like to congratulate all of the winners and runners up.”

The development of HRN1 to the North of Houghton Regis will deliver up to 5,150 new homes along with retail, commercial, extensive green open space and community facilities. HRDC remains committed to working with the local community as the development progresses.
