Senior Planning Manager

Jamie joined Lands Improvement in May 2021 as a Planning Manager and continues to lead in navigating our sites through the complexities of the planning system. Jamie has a background in planning consultancies and is adept at working through complex planning issues, such as green belt and heritage constraints, in order to unlock the development potential of sites.

Current projects include the promotion of a new settlement of at least 4,000 dwellings in Bedford, navigating the latter stages of the emerging Local Plan before managing the approval of a planning application that will facilitate Lands Improvement’s role as master developer of the development. Jamie is also coordinating the determination of an application for up to 750 dwellings and associated infrastructure in Aylesbury. This comprises the twin-tracking of an application determination alongside the finalising of the emerging Local Plan and production of a Supplementary Planning Document alongside adjoining landowners.
